Profile

Computer Engineering is one of the departments in Polytechnic NSC Surabaya. The Curriculum of Computer Engineering Program includes courses that support the achievement of the competence of graduates, and provides flexibility for students to broaden their horizons and to gain expertise in accordance with their interests and talents. The Curriculum of Computer Engineering Program has been designed based on their relevance to the objectives, scope, and depth of the material in order to encourage the formation of hard skills and soft skills of students.

As a center of competence of human resources that are qualified and have global competitiveness in the computer and information technology.

Mission

In conducting education and training of Computer and Information Technology, the needs of industry, community and professional as well as the development of science and technology are always considered, so high qualified graduates with the knowledge and professional skills in computer and information technology that support the growth of an entrepreneurial spirit and are able continue pursuing higher education can be produced.

Competency

The main competence of graduates of Computer Engineering Program is to have: a positive attitude and ethics, knowledge, skills, creativity, and superior leadership, as well as noble morals, namely:

  1. Having a complete personality, positive attitude, honest, trustworthy, responsible, and discipline.
  2. Having competence in computer and information technology, and their applications
  3. Having the ability to communicate well and to cooperate in a team

Academic Goals

  1. Producing graduates that are competent in computer and information technology, and that have broad insight and global competitiveness.
  2. Developing a pattern-based research on computer applications to solve the existing problems in the community.
  3. Writing a computer application program by mastering some of the main computer language, so that the level of programming languages development can be developed.
  4. Developing and implementing a pattern based on academic education with moral ethic values to produce graduates who are competent in computer and information technology.
  5. Developing a system of teaching and learning process based on industrial cooperation.
